Yogi diet recipes

Sweet – Porridge with apple and cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • half a cup of porridge
  • Apple
  • half a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • glass of water
  • a mixture of nuts (cashew, Italian, hazelnut or other)
  • a handful of pumpkin and sunflower seeds
  • a teaspoon of linseed
  • half a teaspoon of honey or agave syrup or 3 chopped dates

Preparation: Mix the oats and water in a pot. Cook it on low heat gradually adding: cinnamon, nuts, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, honey or agave syrup or dates. Everything cooks about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. When you see that the porridge begins to thicken, remove the pot from the heat. Finally, add the apple peel, add ground linseed and mix thoroughly again.

Specifically – Fried egg with spinach

Ingredients:

  • slice of whole wheat bread
  • 1 egg
  • a large handful of spinach
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Himalayan / sea salt
  • an avocado
  • Cherry tomatoes

Preparation: Squeeze a clove of garlic through a garlic press, then mix it with fresh spinach. Heat oil in a frying pan and add spinach and garlic to it. After a while, add a little water and cover the pan with a lid so that the spinach choke slightly.

Then remove the spinach from the pan and beat the egg on it by adding a few drops of oil. Season with Himalayan salt and freshly ground pepper.You can diversify this dish by adding a few pieces of avocado and cherry tomatoes. For this we recommend a slice of whole grain bread.

Traditionally – Whole grain bread with avocado and white cheese

Ingredients:

  • two slices of whole grain bread
  • an avocado
  • lemon / lime
  • Himalayan / sea salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • two slices of white lean cheese
  • fresh coriander / basil / parsley

Preparation: Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and hollow the pulp with a spoon. Crush it with a fork by adding sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Squeeze the lime or lemon to taste, mix everything until it forms a paste. Smear wholemeal bread with it, put a slice of white cheese on top.
If you have fresh coriander, basil or parsley at home, add it to the white cheese.
